Join our six week training program and learn how to effectively find relief from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Treating OCD requires a commitment of time. We understand that life doesn’t stop for OCD and OCD doesn’t slow down for the obligations of life. This is why we have created a program that helps you manage both. This program is designed for working adults and Students, who’s schedules don’t permit the time requirements of an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Our program offers evidence based treatments to help manage the symptoms of OCD and improve functionality in daily life. We have compiled a set of skills that can be taught in just six weeks and applied for a lifetime.
The program is taught in a group setting. Clients will be taught how to apply CBT, DBT, ACT and ERP. Group therapy sessions and group exposure work will assist the client in preparing for managing the symptoms of OCD, in real world settings. The program is run by a licensed therapist and clients will never be left alone with an aide. Make the commitment and lear how to find relief from OCD.
What to expect
- Clients will be trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
- Clients will learn to face the perceived threats of OCD by exposing themselves to their fears. A licensed therapist will walk each participant through this process and help set them up for success.
- Group therapy will help provide a safe space to talk about a variety of OCD sub-topics and to discuss how to manage them.
- Weekly homework will be assigned and reviewed during the following session.
- A diagnostic evaluation will need to be completed to enroll in the program. The standard fee of $180 will be charged for the evaluation.
- Individual sessions, with your licensed therapist, can be scheduled separately for an additional fee.
- Insurance can be used for the diagnostic evaluation and individual sessions. Insurance is not accepted for the six week program.

Defining treatment terms
-
-
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): This treatment is used to help the client learn to face fears triggered by the intrusive thoughts of OCD. Clients will be walked through the process of exposing themselves to the perceived threats of OCD and learn to effectively engage anxiety, rather than preform a compulsive behavior.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): This treatment is used to help the client recognize the error in their thoughts, redirect to effective thinking and engage in behaviors that do not reinforce the perceived threats of OCD.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): This treatment is used to help the client learn to accept intrusive thoughts and commit to engaging in effective behaviors. ACT assists in tolerating the intrusive thoughts of OCD, rather than labeling the thoughts as threatening.
- Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT): This treatment focuses on effectively regulating high levels of emotion. The use of DBT will assist the client in regulating anxiety so that ERP can be done effectively.
